Avocado Rootstocks
We use rootstocks that have been proven to make avocado varieties more survivable to root rot and high salt content found in water and soil. We have the following rootstocks:
Day, Fairchild, Toro Canyon, Dusa® (Merensky 2), Tami, Miriam, Duke 7, and more to come.

Subtropica Nurseries LLC is located in the quaint town of Fallbrook, California, and we are dedicated to providing high-quality trees at great prices.
By using the latest technology and breakthroughs in the industry, we can offer distinct characteristics to suit different climates and other challenges that affect commercial California tree growers. We sell trees to residential customers at Eli’s Farms Stand, which is located across from the nursery.
We are currently offering many varieties of avocados on clonal rootstocks and standard graft. Many other subtropicals will be available soon.
